Irlam is a suburb of Salford in Greater Manchester and lies on the South side of the M62 motorway. It is located approximately 9 miles out of Manchester City Centre and has great motorway connections and good local schools. The area is undergoing huge regeneration, with large investment into Irlam Railway Station House. Planning permission was granted on the 15th May and the application for a licence was recently submitted. The licence supports the café bistro part of the redevelopment, which will be an upmarket concern with the main emphasis being good food and a place where commuters and families can get a bite to eat. However, the station house is only part of the redevelopment, which also includes: A waiting room, New toilets, Office space, Managers flat, which will provide extra security with someone on site at all times, Station garden, FREE 60 space car park, complete with CCTV and secure cycle parking.
Local amenities in Irlam have also seen a recent face lift, with major improvements to the shop facades.
With lots of exciting investment and regeneration, this is why Irlam Estates believe Irlam, Cadishead and the surrounding areas are great places to live, work and enjoy.
